2. What are the pain points, or biggest fears?

– Short Term:

• They feel ashamed and even guilty of their bodies.
• May lose a few pounds, but then gain it right back, leading to more frustration and hopelessness
• They’re constantly worried about being judged by others.
• They feel unattractive and less desirable; also comparing themselves to others who are in great shape.
• Their weight also affects other areas of their life. They may feel tired all the time, not have any motivation, and just feel like a complete failure.
• They may try to cope with their constant failures by self-sabotaging; I.e. eating foods they know they shouldn’t be eating.
• They feel “less than” they used to. Like they’re not worthy, deserving or as attractive as they used to be. Other people view them as “less than” in their mind. There’s a resentment that comes from this as well. Resentment towards the skinnier women who are “lucky”. And a lesser resentment towards society that seems to not notice them.
